Q - Who would use SMD Draughting & Design Services?

A - Interior Designers, Estate Agents, Letting Agents, Individuals with Residential or Holiday property to let, Furniture Manufacturers, Architects, Property Developers, Businesses or Individuals who wish to commission custom furniture & anyone who wishes to outsource their CAD projects.

Q - I would like to use a service SMD offers, what is the next step?

A - Contact SMD stating the service you wish to use, providing as much information as possible including attachments such as: sketches, drawings and scans of finish samples. You will then be provided with a detailed and competitive quotation. If you then wish to proceed, a draft copy will be sent to you once it has been completed. You will then have one free revision to make any alterations. Once the completed project has been revised or approved, a final copy will be produced & sent to you in your selected format.

Q - What are your payment terms?

A - For smaller projects (under £20) and new customers, full payment is required before work starts on your project. For larger projects and repeat custom a 30% deposit is required, the remaining balance is then paid upon completion.

Q - How to I send my sketches, drawings, colour & finish samples to SMD?

A - If you have access to a scanner, please scan your sketches/ finishes and submit them to SMD by e-mail. Alternately, if you do not have access to a scanner or your sketches/ finishes are too large for you to scan, please submit them by post.
